Jianyu Gu, President
Mr. Gu, used to serve as a Senior Engineer at Samsung Semiconductors, Principal Engineer at Cadence Design Systems, ASIC Director at Hifn, and Senior ASIC Director at Legend Silicon Corp., since
he continued his professional work in US in 1995.

After the graduation from Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou in 1982, Mr. Gu worked at Beijing Dongguang Semiconductors Corp.(No.878 Factory). Since then, Mr. Gu has contributed his distinguished accomplishments in the field of IC design. He was responsible for the work of Design Center at Dongguang for a long time, and he also served as one of the Chief Designers at Beijing IC Design Center (BIDC) for several years.
For nearly 30 years, Mr. Gu had directed, managed and independently designed hundreds of IC project, all of which have achieved first silicon success.
 
CZ Chen Ph.D., VP of Sales and Marketing
Dr. Chen joined Qualchip at the beginning of 2014. Prior to this, he had worked as an ASIC Design Engineer at Trident Microsystems-USA in 1995, then Principal Engineer/ Sr. Technical Manager at
Cadence Design Systems-USA in 1997-2002. Dr. Chen lead the World-Class Trainings for IC Talents at Zhongguancun-Cadence University in 2003-2005. He served as Country AE Manager and
Director of AE at Cadence-China in 2005-2013. He jointly published the book “Physical Implementation of Digital IC Design” in 2008. 

Dr. Chen graduated from University of Science & Technology in Physics, and received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Radiation Physics from University of St.Andrews, UK in 1987. Between 1987-1995, he started a post-doctorial at BNL, NY; research associate at UCSF, CA; and assistant professor at Columbia University. Dr. Chen has published 30 scientific research articles. He worked at CAS-Beijing as research assistant for 7 years on Radiation Biophysics. 
 
Joseph Tai, VP of Operations
From 1995, Mr. Tai had served as Logistic Management Specialist at ACER Computers, Manager of Outsourcing and Procurement at UMC and Faraday, Director of Operations and VP of Operations at
Alchip, etc., in Taiwan.

After receiving master degree from the Institute of Industrial Engineering, Taiwan Jiaotong University in 1992, Mr. Tai has been dedicated his effort to the global semiconductors manufacturing supply
chain management from production/quality control to schedule/cost control, and has established intimate strategic partnerships with the industry leading foundries, assembly and testing houses, and
equipment suppliers.

For the last 15 years, Mr. Tai has successfully led dozens of customer IC project into volume or mass production, and won excellent reputation from customers all over the world.
